The client:

The Yiros Shop isn’t just another quick-service restaurant—it’s a family-owned success story built on passion, tradition, and a hunger for growth. What started as a humble Greek street food spot has grown into a fast-growing brand bringing the flavours of Greece to Australian customers.

Known for their high-quality ingredients, traditional recipes, and now freshly flame-grilled meats, The Yiros Shop has spent the last 10 years serving up flavourful yiros. But beyond the food, it’s a business tied together by a founding family and team who deeply care about authenticity, quality, and the customer experience.

The challenge:

For a decade, The Yiros Shop has been serving up authentic Greek street food across Queensland. But despite their commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients and traditional cooking methods, they faced a major perception problem—people kept confusing their premium yiros with greasy, late-night kebabs.

They needed a bold campaign to assist in shifting the narrative, positioning The Yiros Shop as a fresh, healthy, and flavour-packed lunch option while celebrating the Greek heritage that makes their menu so special.

The solution:

To redefine The Yiros Shop’s place in the market, ShareStory created a high-energy, multi-channel brand campaign that highlighted freshness by showcasing their flame-grilled meats, vibrant salads, and authentic Greek recipes. At the same time, we aimed to educate customers, dispelling the "kebab" myth through fun, engaging content that reinforced the premium quality of yiros. Beyond the food, we sought to embrace Greek culture, infusing every touchpoint with the warmth, passion, and authenticity that makes The Yiros Shop unique. With the founder Nick leading the charge, we developed an extensive content suite that included commercials, educational videos, and in-store media, ensuring that the message was clear, compelling, and impossible to ignore.

Charming Authenticity in a Commercial Wrapper

The campaign captured the energy and authenticity of The Yiros Shop through dynamic storytelling, quick-cut editing, and playful scripting. From the contrast of a dimly-lit kebab shop to the bright, bustling atmosphere of a Yiros Shop kitchen, every visual drove home the message—this isn’t just any Greek food; it’s real yiros, made fresh, and lighter than your late night memories.

Their founder Nick brought out his authentic charm to make the educational content relatable, while the campaign’s digital-first approach ensured maximum outputs across social media, in-store screens, and digital advertising.

In Partnership with World-Class Creative + Post

This campaign was the result of a powerful end-to-end collaboration between 3P Group and ShareStory. With 3P Group as the originating client partner, they engaged ShareStory to lead creative direction and production—uniting both teams under a shared vision to reimagine The Yiros Shop brand. 3P Group and their specialised divisions led all post-production, including voiceover recording, video editing, and animation, adding polish and pace to every frame. Together, we brought the high-energy story of The Yiros Shop to life, creating an attention-grabbing campaign that defines a new standard for the brand.

On set, the ShareStory magic was in full swing—quite literally in the kitchen. We went all in, pushing the boundaries with pyrotechnics, macro cinematography, and experimental camera rigs to capture The Yiros Shop’s fresh ingredients and passionate cooking process in a way that had never been seen before. Flames roared, sauces dripped in slow motion, and skewers spun in gravity-defying close-ups—all shot with high-energy, dynamic movement that made every frame feel alive.

Fuelled by enjoying a few too many of the props, the team worked at an electric pace, leaning into the playful, hands-on nature of the shoot. Although meticulously planned, every setup was a new experiment to create energy in the final shots. The process was just as bold as the food itself—fast, fiery, and full of personality.
